Kathryn’s Homemade Cakes is in the business of creating Beautiful and Tasty cakes for your Wedding or Celebration.

I will never sell, rent or trade email lists with other companies or businesses for marketing purposes.

To make my website work properly, small data files called Cookies (of the non edible variety) are used.

My website  does NOT use Google analytics.

I do not have a mailing list and will only ever contact you in relation to your cake order or enquiry.

Your Name and Address are required when placing an order for a cake. A phone number will also be required as it enables me to keep in contact with you. Venue details for wedding cake orders will also be required for delivery purposes.

Copies of invoices/receipts are kept for Accountancy purposes/HMRC records. For tax purposes the law requires me to keep basic information about my clients (including Contact, Identity, Financial and Transaction Data) for six years.

Any emails will only be kept for the duration of your order and will be deleted after your order is completed.

Any emails received, that haven’t lead to an order will be deleted.

Any order details will be held in confidence and never shared. The only time this may need to happen, is if I am unable to complete an order. Your details will be passed to another cake maker who will be completing your order on my behalf. **This would only be in exceptional circumstances**

I will endeavour to keep your information secure. My Computer is password protected and passwords are never stored for email and social media accounts.

Any documents, with your address details on,  will be password protected, when being sent by email. The password will be sent separately by text message. Documents can be sent by Royal Mail if preferred.

My website includes links to third-party websites. Clicking on these links or enabling those connections may allow third parties to collect or share data about you. I do not control these third-party websites and am not responsible for their content or privacy statements.
